This handcrafted wide brim fur felt hat is made from a rabbit and beaver fur blend, hand-dyed in layered ochre, clay, and sun-warmed earth tones. The surface is heavily worked by hand, with washes of color, abrasion, and visible markings creating depth and movement across the crown and brim.

The crown features hand-burned artwork, worked directly into the felt, including an eye motif and scattered symbolic markings. Additional hand-drawn details and burn work appear throughout the brim layered, imperfect, and intentionally unsymmetrical giving the piece a sense of motion and storytelling rather than balance. A patterned fabric band wraps the crown, finished with hand-tied details that add texture without control or polish.

The slightly shorter 3.7-inch brim keeps the profile intentional and wearable, grounding the expressive surface work and allowing the hat to sit comfortably in everyday rotation.
