This handcrafted wide brim fur felt hat is made from a rabbit and beaver fur blend, hand-dyed in layered charcoal and ash tones across the brim, contrasted by a soft blush and clay-toned crown. The felt is intentionally distressed, allowing subtle shifts in color and texture to surface naturally rather than appearing uniform.

The crown features a hand-burned stitched heart motif, worked directly into the felt—imperfect and slightly off-center emphasizing wear, vulnerability, and character over symmetry. Additional hand distressing softens the silhouette and edges, giving the piece a lived-in, handled feel. A patterned fabric band wraps the crown, adding quiet contrast without overpowering the form.
